About the Instruments
BD FACSAriaII
The BD FACSAriaII is a state-of-the-art 6 laser instrument used for high parameter analysis and cell sorting. It can perform two and four way bulk sorting for a variety of tube sizes as well as automatic cell deposition for single cell sorting into multiwell plates or onto microscope slides. Typical applications include immunophenotyping, cell cycle/apoptosis/proliferation assays, cytokine analysis and transgene (fluorescent protein) detection. Its NIR laser allows also detection of e.g. photo immunotherapeutic antibodies.
BD LSRFortessa
The BD LSRFortessa is a high parameter cell analyzer equipped with 5 lasers and an optional HTS sample injection system. Typical applications include immunophenotyping, cell cycle/apoptosis/proliferation assays, cytokine analysis, transgene (fluorescent protein) detection and FRET studies.
BD FACSCalibur
The BD FACSCalibur is a user-friendly 2 laser instrument most suitable for simple immunophenotyping, apoptosis/proliferation assays, cytokine analysis and transgene (fluorescent protein) detection.
