Memorial Hermann Hospital – TMC  – general neurology – Inpatient and consult service – student will be exposed to neurologic cases such as spinal cord compression, status epilepticus, multiple sclerosis exacerbation, myasthenia gravis exacerbation, acute  inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy, toxic/metabolic or infectious encephalopathy to name a few.

Memorial Hermann Children’s Hospital -pediatric neurology – Inpatient service

MHH – TMC Stroke service:  inpatient stroke service

Lyndon Baines Johnson – General neurology consult service

The Lyndon Baines Johnson Hospital, owned and operated by the Harris Health System, is the second primary teaching facility for The University of Texas Medical School at Houston. This 332-bed hospital opened in 1989 and is a full-service general hospital with easy access for the indigent patients it serves. Health care services for the hospital district are provided by Affiliated Medical Services (a nonprofit organization composed of UT faculty), which staffs LBJ, and Baylor College of Medicine, which staffs Ben Taub General Hospital.

Ambulatory rotations are at either UTPB and/or Quentin Mease Community Hospital  (Harris Health affiliated clinic).
