In my role in the Department of Pediatrics, I help educate medical students and pediatric residents during their newborn rotation as well as during their time in our outpatient clinical sites. My educational efforts have been focused on improving the experience of our medical students rotating through Pediatrics. I have had the opportunity to work with the medical school in developing new curricula, such as the Longitudinal Integrated Curriculum, as well as been able to participate in multiple educational activities to help improve the undergraduate medical education. My passion is medical education and this has given me the opportunity to mentor different levels of learners and share my knowledge in this topic with other faculty members.
