iRIS

The iRIS Training Session provides a hands-on overview of the iRIS (integrated Research Information System) website used to submit protocols involving human subjects. The instructor, Barbara Legate, Senior Business Systems Analyst, Office of the EVP for Academic and Research Affairs, will walk through the initial submission of a protocol, as well as the process of responding to pending items in a submission. Students will be required to have access to the VPN to do the exercises hands-on, but if not, they can watch the presentation via WebEx. Classes will be scheduled based on need approximately every 2 weeks. Registration is required. Register at this link. Info on VPN is at this link.

If you cannot attend the iRIS training, a video demonstrating the “Entering of an IRB Initial Submission” is available at the following link:  https://youtu.be/yrhHS_9YBl0  More videos will be available soon.
