Winn CIPP is a program initiative of the Robert A. Winn Diversity in Clinical Trials Award Program (external link), a $114 million program funded by the Bristol Myers Squibb Foundation, Gilead Sciences, and Amgen.
The goal of the Winn CIPP is to expose URiM and/or medical students from disadvantaged backgrounds to career pathways in clinical research, particularly community-oriented research that is focused on increasing inclusion, equity, and diversity in the conduct of clinical and translational research.

2024 PROGRAM DATES
The 2024 Winn CIPP will take place during two 6-week program periods: Group 1: June 3 – July 12, 2024 Group 2: June 10 – July 19, 2024
AWARD
66 underrepresented in medicine (URiM) or medical students from disadvantaged backgrounds who are pursuing an MD, MD/PhD, DO, DO/PhD will be awarded a $7,500 stipend to participate in a 6-week summer externship at community-based clinical research sites across the nation to gain exposure to the following:
