EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY

“The purpose of life is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, and to have it make some difference.” Ralph Waldo Emerson

I am committed to making a difference in the lives and minds of the future generation of physicians and other students that aspire to obtain a higher level of education.

  • My focus is to help the learner or mentee recognize their potential and the obstacle that may be hindering their advancement.
  • My mission is to mentor and teach others while positively influencing not only to reach up for help but also to reach out and mentor someone else.
  • I aim to lead by example optimizing patient outcomes through improved communication and teamwork and promoting a culture of safety and excellence at the McGovern School and the hospitals we serve.
