From Assessment to Action

From assessment to action
Teaching, practical skills, workflow improvement, safety, and outreach

2019 – Resident and faculty lecture, Rabat
Education for radiology professionals
Faculty and residents delivered emergency, neuroradiology, body imaging, and medical-writing sessions. Resident feedback consistently favored interactive, case-based formats, more hands-on workshops, and bilingual presentation materials.

2019 – Image review and workstation teaching
Workflow and image systems
The team reviewed workstations, reporting processes, imaging protocols, and connectivity. Recommendations emphasized better integration, standard protocols, templated reporting, and technologist education at the workstation.

2019 – Medical physics and radiation-safety assessment
Radiation safety and quality
Medical physics review identified gaps in exposure documentation, dosimeter use, equipment quality control, shielding verification, and consistent patient information. The program recommended formal quality-assurance and radiation-safety processes.

2019 – Assessment of mobile imaging equipment
Mobile outreach and practical procedures
The Oulad Khallouf mission demonstrated how portable radiography and ultrasound can extend imaging to underserved communities. Hands-on workshops also responded to residents’ interest in ultrasound-guided aspiration and biopsy skills.
