Congratulations MSIIIs, you’ve made it to the home stretch and are ready to plan your final year with us at McGovern Medical School. You’ve worked hard to make it this far so now is the time to tighten your belt and hold on for what should be an exciting ride.
As always, Fourth-year starts on July 1 and consists of 11 months through May 31. Your final year will consist of four Required Courses (Ambulatory Medicine, Advanced Patient Care, Critical Care Medicine and Transition to Residency) and four electives, through which, you will have the opportunity to experience a variety of specialties locally, across the nation and abroad. Plus, you may get up to three months vacation depending on your own circumstances.
Let’s get started with the Ground Rules.
