The Department of Anesthesiology at McGovern Medical School is pleased to recognize members of our department who were elected to leadership positions and received awards within the Texas Society of Anesthesiologists (TSA) at the society’s annual meeting on September 10, 2022 in Round Rock, Texas.

Dr. George WilliamsGeorge Williams, MD, FASA, FCCM, FCCP, Professor, Vice-Chair and Division Chief of Critical Care Medicine, and the department Fellowship Program Director, was elected TSA President for 2022-2023

Drs. Adam Moore, Katharine Heffner, George Williams and Xuan LangridgeAlumni Dr. Xuan Langridge (2020), Dr. Adam Moore (2021) and current resident Dr. Katharine Heffner (2022) were winners of the Dr. James Adkins and Linda Adkins Residents Award.

Dr. Nik GleneskDr. Nik Glenesk was awarded the William H. King Advocacy Award.
