The primary hospital affiliate of  McGovern Medical School, Department of Anesthesiology is the Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center. Memorial Hermann as a hospital system (13 hospitals) is the largest not-for-profit healthcare system in southeast Texas. Memorial Hermann-TMC is the busiest Level I trauma center in the United States with care teams in place to facilitate the highest quality of care available. With centers of excellence in bariatrics, maternal-fetal medicine, neurosurgery, among others, our trainees gain exposure to cutting-edge techniques and technology on a routine basis.
