UTHealth School of Dentistry

The UTHealth School of Dentistry has three programs which receive service from our department:

  • Pediatric Dentistry
  • Orthodontics
  • General Dentistry

Patients who require general anesthesia, or deep sedation but at considerable procedural risk, are now offered assistance for their sedation or general anesthesia.

Also, the Department of Anesthesiology at McGovern Medical School is responsible for the dentistry residents of such programs to support their education, skill preparation, and academic development in dental anesthesia.
