What do you like to do in Houston? Food and drink + catch cheap flights to almost anywhere in the country, Mexico city and most of the Caribbean.

Hobbies: scuba, bouldering, and intermural sports.

Fun fact: at a point in my life I used to have 3 different citizenships.

What do you like about the program?: The program is huge, and you will absolutely find mentorship and networking opportunities.

Fun fact: While I was in the Navy I learned that a baby puffin is called a Puffling.

What do you like about our program? I appreciate many of our outstanding, supportive faculty and the strong clinical experiences we get at Hermann and other hospitals we rotate through within the TMC. This program provides all the resources and opportunities to become an excellent, well-rounded anesthesiologist.

What do you like about our program?: I enjoy how diverse, friendly, and close our large residency program is with each other. Residents help each other and personal wellness is promoted. Clinically the experience I receive here is unparalleled. My confidence has grown significantly compared to when I first began. I'm glad to have opportunities with Anesthesia advocacy and the networking opportunities provided. I'm proud of my journey through residency and I would not have received all of this without UTHealth Houston Science Center.

Fun Fact: I served in the United States Marine Corps as a Tactical Air Defense Coordinator.

What I Like to do in Houston: Houston has been a special place for my family as it is quite kid friendly. We have enjoyed the affordable and family friendly neighborhoods with good schools, sports teams, tutoring, music lessons, and ballet classes.

What I like about the program: We get a wide variety of clinically challenging cases that truly grow you as a physician.

Fun Fact: I planted a mini orchard in my backyard and dream of my post-graduation farm.
