Department Bio

In my role as a radiologist and educator, I am involved in the education of medical students, Radiology residents, Cardiothoracic Imaging Fellows and Pulmonary and Critical Care and Sleep Medicine Fellows.

– I have lectured locally and nationally on numerous topics ranging from thoracic radiology to education in general. For example, teaching how to give successful conferences, give feedback, using imaging appropriately by introducing medical students and residents to the American College of Radiology Appropriateness Criteria, etc.
– Making the members of the audience active rather than passive learners has always been an objective of mine.
– Teaching faculty about the challenge and importance of evaluating residents & giving feedback.
– My goal is to help learners comprehend Radiology and utilize imaging resources for the benefit of best patient care, safety and appropriateness.
