New Grant – Foundation for Anesthesia Education and Research (FAER)
The Department of Anesthesiology, Critical Care and Pain Medicine proudly participated in this year’s Academic Giving Competition benefitting the Foundation for Anesthesia Education and Research (FAER). We raised $2,167.50 during the competition – all of which was matched dollar-for-dollar by Drs. Dan and Ximena Sessler to establish a new grant at FAER. Past FAER grantees include colleagues Dr. Holger Eltzschig and Dr. Eric Vu, and Dr. Dan Sessler and Dr. Alparslan Turan have served as mentors to several medical students through FAER’s MSARF program. Thanks to all the donors who participated in this year’s competition!
And a very special thanks to Dr. George Williams and Dr. Paul Potnuru for serving as Team Captains for our department.
