Biography

While pursuing my undergraduate and medical training, I always enjoyed education and mentorship. During my residency at UTHealth, I knew that one day I wanted to be involved in resident education. My specific interests within the residency program include: senior resident education, OSCE and oral board training, and mentorship for our junior and senior residents. Outside of residency education, I am focused on anesthesiology exposure for our third and fourth year medical students, education and mentorship of our pediatric anesthesiology fellows, and quality improvement—currently serving on the Operating Room Efficiency and Throughput Council at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital. I am happy to join a great group of anesthesiologists and become more involved with the residency program!
