Clinical Manuscript Submission Checklist

All clinical research manuscript submissions are required to complete the manuscript checklist before submission.

This includes:

• Running the manuscript through iThenticate software to check for potential plagiarism
• Verifying the IRB approval status and consents for publication
• Safely storing research data in our departmental shared drive or UTHealth REDCap database
• Verifying original research data by 3 independent persons who are not the first or last author for the manuscript submission

The manuscript checklist is mandatory for researchers who receive departmental research support (time and/or funding).
