The Department of Anesthesiology, Critical Care, and Pain Medicine is thrilled to announce the Master of Science in Anesthesia Program. The UTH-MSA program will be the twenty-first program established in the country, housed under the McGovern Medical School, and the first program from a Texas state institution. This rigorous 28-month program will feature a curriculum encompassing 100 credit hours, 900 hours of didactic and simulation-based learning, and clinical training with over 2,500 patient-contact hours. The inaugural cohort of students will begin their studies in Fall 2024. The program’s physical site will be in the UTHealth Houston Professional Building, with development set to start soon.
