Charles Conselman, MS4, won second prize at the Texas Academy of Family Practice 2022 Annual Session & Primary Care Summit, Oct. 28-30 in Grapevine, Texas. Conselman presented research that discussed aging and its consequences in older patients.

He conducted his study as his scholarly project for the Family Medicine/Primary Care Scholarly Concentration, where each student receives individual mentorship to develop an individual project based on their unique interest.

The scholarly concentration mentorship team includes: Jude des Bordes, MBChB, DrPH; Nahid Rianon, MD; and Shira Goldstein, MD.
