The Department of Family and Community Medicine hosted Jonathan A. Patz, MD, MPH, for its annual presentation of the Sam & Elizabeth Nixon Lectureship in Family Medicine, Nov. 2 in MSB 2.135.

Patz is the Vilas Distinguished Professor and John P. Holton Chair of Health and the Environment at the Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies and Department of Population Health at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Patz presented on “Solving the Climate Crisis: Golden Opportunities for Health Promotion.”
