Shah to present Withers Lectureship

Nipa R. Shah, MD, FAAFP, professor and chair of the Department of Community Health and Family Medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville, will present the Department of Family and Community Medicine‘s 2023 Henry W. Withers Lectureship in Family Medicine, Aug. 16.

Shah will present on “Artificial Intelligence and Medicine,” from 1-2 p.m. in MSB 2.135 as well as virtually via Webex. The Webex meeting number and password are:

Shah is a family medicine specialist with more than 20 years of experience in clinical practice. Shah’s clinical interests include global health, diabetes, hidradenitis, female sexual dysfunction.

Shah earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1996 and completed family medicine residencies at Case Western Reserve/MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, and at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in Albuquerque, in 1997 and 1999, respectively.
