Aortic Symposium set for March 10-12
The 14th annual Houston Aortic Symposium Frontiers in Cardiovascular Diseases is scheduled for March 10-12 in a hybrid format.
The two-and-a-half-day live symposium will be held live and in person at the Westin Oaks Hotel in Houston. The program is designed to present and discuss the diagnosis and treatment paradigms for aortic and structural heart diseases, including medical, endovascular, surgical, and hybrid options. A faculty of leading experts from around the world will present and debate on these topics.
The symposium is designed for vascular surgeons, cardiothoracic surgeons, interventional radiologists, cardiologists, anesthesiologists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, perfusionists, and other health care professionals involved in the care and treatment of patients with aortic diseases.
The Houston Aortic Symposium is designed by symposium chairs Anthony Estrera, MD, professor and Hazim J. Safi, MD, Distinguished Chair in Cardiovascular Surgery; and Ali Azizzadeh, MD, professor and director of the Division of Vascular Surgery at Cedars Sinai. Program directors are Gustavo Oderich, MD, professor and John P. and Kathrine G. McGovern Distinguished Chair in Cardiovascular Surgery; and Tom Nguyen, MD, professor of cardiothoracic and vascular surgery. Honorary chairs are Hazim Safi, MD, and David McPherson, MD, James T. and Nancy B. Willerson Chair and Francine M. Pevow, MD Chair of Internal Medicine.
