Pediatric Neuroscience Symposium returns Sept. 17

Pediatric Neuroscience Symposium

Registration is open for the Pediatric Neuroscience Symposium, hosted by UTHealth Houston Neurosciences, Sept. 17 at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital (6411 Fannin St.).

The 2022 conference is titled “Children with Neurological and Neurosurgical Conditions: An Update for Pediatricians.” The informative conference about neurological and neurosurgical conditions includes an overview of current and changing concepts in the care of children with neurological conditions.

Learning objectives for the Pediatric Neuroscience Symposium are to recognize and diagnose neurological problems in the pediatric patient, incorporate guidelines in practice for more effective management of pediatric patients with neurological disease, and to identify available alternatives in the treatment of neurological disease in infants and children.

Speakers for the event from McGovern Medical School include Pamela Lupo, MD; Brandon Miller, MD, PhD; Phuong Nguyen, MD; Jeremy Lankford, MD; Manish Shah, MD; Pauline Filipek, MD; Stephen Fletcher, DO; Jason Au, MD; Amanda Child, PhD; and David Sandberg, MD.
