Radiology Interest Group

Are you a medical student interested in diagnostic or interventional radiology? Enroll in the Radiology Interest Group (RIG). Membership is absolutely free!!!

The objective of this interest group is to increase awareness and educate medical students about the field of both diagnostic and interventional radiology. We offer medical students in any of the four years multiple opportunities to get involved with the radiology department, assist with volunteering efforts, and help in teaching activities including anatomy lab sessions.

Come learn about radiology as a medical specialty through lunch lectures and special projects. We recommend resources for medical students wanting to participate in radiology-related research, and also provide support to medical students in optimizing the radiology residency application process.

This organization is sponsored by the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Imaging (DII) at McGovern Medical School and directed by Manickam Kumaravel MD.
