Welcome to the webpage of the McGovern Medical School Department of Emergency Medicine’s Prehospital and Disaster Medicine Section.
Our section is made up of a diverse group of dedicated faculty that are active in multiple facets of Emergency Medical Services and prehospital care, from operational medical direction to EMS fellowship education, and from prehospital research to large-scale event medicine coverage.
Our group provides operational medical direction to a multitude of prehospital agencies ranging from large municipal services to small suburban services, and we administer McGovern Medical School’s ACGME-accredited EMS Fellowship.
Our faculty include experts in:
