Paul Won, MD

I want to spend my training years at the busiest trauma center in the country. Additionally, the surgical volume and connections to top plastic surgeons and hospitals are invaluable opportunities.

Paul was born in New York and attended high school in New Jersey before moving to Connecticut for college. During college, after shadowing orthopedic surgery, Paul knew he wanted to become a surgeon. Before medical school, he completed a research year at the Boston Children’s Hospital. During this time, his parents moved to southern California which led him to choose USC for medical school. During medical school, Paul fell in love with plastic surgery and ended up couples matching with his partner to Houston. As they both have rigorous surgical residencies for the next couple of years, he is excited to explore Houston and call it home.
