Resident Program Applicants

Number of Spots Available
- We anticipate offering 26 categorical spots (2 research-focused) and 4 Reserved Physician spots for the 2024-2025 application cycle
Letters of Recommendation
- We accept up to 4 letters of recommendation. At least one, preferably two, letters should be from an anesthesiologist
Central App
- We are part of a growing number of anesthesiology programs who are piloting the Central App for this upcoming year. We highly encourage applicants to utilize this free application service in addition to the standard ERAS application portal. More information and participating programs can be found at https://centralapp.accessgme.com/
- Please ask your letter of recommendation writers to submit letters via both Central App and ERAS portals
- The release date for applications to residency programs via Central App is on September 16, 2024 which is earlier than the standard ERAS release date
USMLE/COMLEX
- We do not have a score cutoffs for applicants
Interviews
- Invitations to interview will be sent via Thalamus
- Categorical Applicants:
  - Interviews will be conducted in-person! Please wear a pair of scrubs to your interview day. A pre-interview social will be scheduled the night prior to your interview day in conjunction with current residents. Attire for the pre-interview social is casual.
  - Your interview day will be completed by 1:30PM CST
  - 2024-2025 Interview Dates:
    - October 7, 14, 21, 28th
    - November 4, 11, 18, 25th
    - December 2, 9, 16th
    - January 6, 13th
  - Reserved Applicants:
    - Interviews will be conducted virtually in December 2024
